Benefit Wrap Up
The Center held its second most-successful Annual Cocktail Benefit ever on May 5, 2010 at Atrium Shops & Cafes (601 Lexington) in midtown Manhattan. The event raised $575,000, nearly one-half of the Center’s operating budget, and has become a ‘go-to’ occasion for the City’s real estate, design and construction communities.The highlight of the benefit was the presentation of the Founder's Awards for Excellence to these leading professionals:
- Business: Daniel Tishman, Chairman & CEO of Tishman Construction
- Design: Juliette Lam, Senior Principal, HOK
- Public Service: Robert Lieber, Deputy Mayor for Economic Development for the City of New York
The Benefit also marked the end of the highly successful tenure of Robert Selsam, Boston Properties’ Senior VP and Regional Manager of the New York Office, as Chairman of the Salvadori Board of Directors. Mr. Selsam introduced incoming Chairman Gregory Kelly, Senior Vice President, Parsons Brinckerhoff, during the event.
