B.R.I.D.G.E.S. Program Begins a Green Design Module
On April 19th, children in the BRIDGES program at ten NYCHA community centers began to explore the principles of Green Design. Through in-depth explorations of the ideas and practices of Green Design and LEED criteria, students study the relationship between architecture and ecology. By the final weeks of the program in June, children will work in teams to construct their own model "green" structures.
