> M. Al Isaac

By Ginny Yu

April 2005-In December 2004, stunned students at the Albert Einstein Intermediate School 131 and Pablo Neruda Academy for Architecture and World Studies mourned and commemorated Al Isaac's extraordinary life and the example he set for them.

At the age of 36, Al was the senior architect-educator at the Salvadori Center and the consummate Renaissance man. He also co-authored and designed the layout for the Center's project book Over, On and Under our Communities: Lessons from Salvadori Classrooms and had a second full-time career as a songwriter, arranger and product developer for True Life Entertainment, a company that he co-founded.

Al received his Bachelor's of Science degree in architecture at City College of NY. Raised in Antigua, he excelled academically in school, while also winning numerous art competitions and developing his life-long passion for the arts and music.

Al was a newlywed of three years and will forever be remembered by his family, friends and the countless students he taught over the years.

Help continue Al's legacy of motivating students to learn and pursue higher education. Donations will be applied to an annual $3,000 scholarship award available to students in the Salvadori program.

I would like to contribute $___________ to the

Al Isaac Memorial Scholarship Fund.
