Our ANNUAL BENEFIT is fast approaching. Join us May 7 for cocktails at the Sky Club, at the top of the MetLife Building at 200 Park Avenue, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
Our three distinguished honorees are architect Hugh Hardy, author David Macaulay and Real Estate Diretor for the Port Authority Cherrie Nanninga. College scholarships will also be awarded to four students that evening.

Matthys Levy wrote a new chapter for the 2002 edition of Why Buildings Fall Down. “Terror From the Sky” describes the devastating effects of terrorist attacks on buildings. Profiled are the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing and the 1993 and September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center.

Learn how this landmark became a math and science teaching tool for Walt Whitman Middle School students in Brooklyn, New York, and how you can explore this or similar structures in your classroom, or on your own.

“The Art of Bridge Construction” contains lesson plans, resources and assessment suggestions for hands-on teaching and learning about the science, math and architecture of bridges. This unit, implemented at International High School in Queens, New York, culminated in the student design and construction of bridge models.
