Jose:  The way that we did it was that, first we had to measure a couple of cars. Then we found the average of all those cars.  And then, when we got on the bridge we started to count all the beams on the Brooklyn Bridge.

Tisha:  You measure the space in between the beams, which is fourteen feet. And, (the space) in between each beam can hold 3 cars, because there are three lanes on each side. Which makes six cars for each beam.

Damian: Since there were 258 beams on each side, the spaces were 257.  257, the amount of spaces, times 3, the amount of lanes, will give you 771.  771 times 2 is 1542.

All: And that's the number of cars that can fit on the Brooklyn Bridge.
