Learning through Engineering, Architecture and Design
- 8-week in-school residency, typically serving four 45-minute classes within one grade (approximately 100 to 120 students and 4 teachers)
- Cost/residency to schools or organizations: $7,500; Salvadori underwrites $23,500 of the total program cost of $31,000
- Program fee includes teacher training, class facilitation, and materials
- Includes classroom planning sessions and limited professional development
- Topics for every grade level:
- My Community (grades K-2, with adaptations for grades 3-6)
- Bridges (grades 3-8, with adaptations for grades 9-12)
- Skyscrapers (grades 4-8, with adaptations for grades 9-12)
- Customized residencies can be developed in partnership with schools (fees vary)
