The program provides teachers with the opportunity to explore the Salvadori Center method of using principles of engineering and architecture to enhance math, science and humanities curricula.
Teachers in select cities will participate in an intensive workshop that utilizes the design process, is based on current learning standards, and provides teaching activities and lesson plans.
Engineers from ASCE will participate in a Webinar that introduces them to Salvadori methodology thus preparing them to serve as mentors in classrooms. Via our ASCE-Salvadori web portal, teachers and engineers will form partnerships to collaborate on in-class programs.
