Design Charrette
What is the Design Charrette?
Each June, the Salvadori Student Design Charrette brings together students from across the city for a day-long challenge focused on the built environment. In mixed-school teams and guided by architects and engineers, students develop solutions using only the provided materials and defined parameters.
What was the Design Challenge?
Students took on the challenge to design a bridge strong and stable enough to withstand the weight of a 1-pound truck and added weight of 4 pounds.
